Structural Storage Racks
One of the high performance storage rack systems are the structural storage racks. These types of pallet rack systems are very similar to selective pallet rack systems. The only difference you can find between the selective and structural storage rack systems is the horizontal supports which are attached to the uprights with bolts and often have an increased weight-bearing capacity. Sometime the structural pallet racks can be directly designed into the structure of the building itself. Hence in this case the upright columns are simultaneously used to support the roof of the storage facility. The structural pallet rack uprights, in such cases, replace the storage building’s vertical support I-beams.
Also the pallet racks that are constructed using hot rolled structural channels have long been known as being extraordinarily capable of withstanding the rough and rugged use in toughest environments. This is why the structural storage racks are always popular for use in a large number of distribution facilities. Like the selective storage racks, the structural storage racks are widely used for various types of storage systems and options.
